In The Spotlight

Serge Mouille 3-Arms Floor Lamp

One of the design staples of a modern interior is a signature lamp. Unique lighting can make a bold statement as well as provide a unique sculptural element and sets the tone for a modern space. Two innovative designs in particular do just that. In the spotlight:  the Serge Mouille sleek and slender light fixture and the 265 Mod Wall Lamp by Paolo Rizzato.

Serge Mouille Floor Lamps

French designer Serge Mouille (1922-1988) became an icon of modern design with his simple and sleek lighting that is both minimalist and organic. Drawing on his knowledge of metals as well as his love of the female figure, his designs are long, slender and elegant. Clean, simple lines describe this elegance. He is best known for his 3 Arm Spider like lamp. Sculptural in form, the rotating heads on fixed arms are bold and majestic.

Paolo Rizzatto 265 Mod Wall Lamp

The creations of  renowned Italian designer Paolo Rizzatto (1941) are timeless and classic. His creations are oriented toward technology and functionality yet are sleek and stunning. His 265 Mod Wall Lamp is in a category all of its own. It seems to defy gravity with its long extended arm and rotating lamp head. It is graceful and brilliant. Here are more pics of these spectacular lights in some amazing interiors  ...
