The American holiday of Thanksgiving falls at the end of autumn and the beginning of winter. The weather is chilly, the leaves have fallen and décor is transforming from pumpkins to pine cones and evergreens. As I was looking for ideas on how to decorate my dinner table, I came across many beautiful and unique tablescapes. Here are my favorites! Because I grew up in California (where the weather is not quite as cold as the northeast) I especially appreciate eating outdoors and incorporating the tablescape with nature.
When considering what items to use to decorate the tabletop, I like to keep it simple... mini pumpkins, pine cones, natural log slices, and of course, candles.
I love the idea of keeping it simple. Clear glasses, white plates and a string of lights.
How about a twist on the traditional? I adore this festive and fun table with pink and orange pumpkins.
Have a blessed Thanksgiving!
