A French Farmhouse Christmas
in Victoria, Australia

 Home To Love

Australian Interior Stylist Michelle Woods had a clear vision of what she wanted when she first walked into a two-story timber home overlooking Port Phillip Bay on Victoria's Mornington Peninsula. White, timber-lined walls, neutral tones, natural materials such as linen and weathered wood mixed with a rustic French farmhouse feel. Although Michelle doesn't ascribe to any particular style, she knows what she likes and how to put it together. But most importantly, she knows how to put it all together without blowing her budget. So when Christmas comes around, her decor consists mainly of natural elements and handmade items. She loves the coastal look, vintage objects, woven wicker baskets, industrial pieces and simple shells she has found on the beach. All of this combined makes for a beautifully simple and effortless style that is both warm and homey - a style that perfectly reflects what a French farmhouse Christmas is all about.
