Greek Island Style

As I begin to make travels plans to visit Greece this summer, I find myself constantly daydreaming about its breathtaking beauty. I can't wait to get there and soak up the sun, the sea and the relaxed atmosphere. I've been searching for hotels and villas specifically in Santorini and a small island called Ammouliani, which is in the Halkidiki region of northern Greece/Macedonia. The well-known island of Santorini is full of amazingly decorated boutique hotels and resorts. Of course, they are a bit pricey for a family of five. Although I'd love to stay at one if I could, I actually do prefer a more organic down-to-earth vibe. I'm trying to find something a bit more authentic and rustic.
